Special Educational Needs

Special Educational Needs (SEN) are the needs that require provision that is additional to and different from the provisions in schools.

Examples of these could include: 

 

Autism: 

A developmental condition that leads to communication, social, and behavioral challenges. 

 

ADHD:

A condition that causes ongoing challenges with hyperactivity, inattention, and/or impulsivity.  

 

Dyslexia: 

A learning difficulty that affects an individual’s ability to read and develop a strong understanding of language.
